okay so here I am. I love my children, but holy cow... I have apparently been put here on earth to serve them in all their worldly needs and try to guide them spiritually as well. Poohbear and Snoopy are oblivious to anyone elses needs other than their own. And apparently, my husband feels the same exact way. This is not so unusual if you ask any of my girlfreinds with children, but to non parents, this may seem surreal. When I am completely surprised by their ignorance, they surprise me with gratuity. Today I told Snoopy to help out with couple of chores around the house before I came home from work. When I arrived at home, she had gone above and beyond what I had asked and was trying to find extra things to help out with at the house. Of course, my pesimistic side flared and I wondered what she was up to. Snoopy was so offended that I believed she had evile motives to her new found ambition at house cleaning. Did I finally hit a nerve with a 13 year old who only thinks of herself? Don't get me wrong, she is an amazing little girl with the greatest personality ever. But usually, she is trying to plan the next party, not how to please me or help out here at this house of chaos. Just when I think I have figured these two out, they toss me a curve ball.

Life with teens....very tricky.
Yes, they usually have motives for doing good, but sometimes they are just GOOD.
Thanks to good parenting. :)
